LG 65EC9700 OLED TV, is it worth it? Or too expensive.

Worlds first 4K Curved OLED tv made by LG is available for purchase in all major retailers. Since Samsung electronics announced it will not pursue producing 4K OLED televisions in the next couple of years, LG promptly took advantage of Samsung's lack of ambition and came up with its first 4K OLED curved TV.  It might be a smart move by Samsung as it wants to concentrate on UHD Upscaling LED televisions until the 4K movie market matures.

Is it really worth to buy the expensive LG 65EC9700?

The short answer is yes if you don't mind spending $10,000 on a TV set. There is no doubt that LG has put a lot of thought and work into this simply beautiful OLED TV. This is one of the best televisions we have come across yet. The picture looks beyond amazing, and the color accuracy is outstanding. If you are one of those people that is looking for the balance between elegance, style, and absolutely beautiful picture in a TV set, then you are in luck. This LG model gives you all of that.  But at $10,000 price tag, we think the price is a bit high for ordinary people. We think you might get this same TV at half of the price if you wait a year or two. The TV market is very competitive, and the prices come down rapidly from the initial introduction of new TV models. In general, if you wait a few months to year, you will get a great deals on the past year TV models.
