The top Indian mobile maker company Micromax today starts operation in Russia.The operation starts with the event of launching Canvas Beat A114R and Bolt Social A94 smartphone in Russian Market.At its first stage, Micromax set 14 initial products to launch in Russia also Micromax is aiming to become in top 4 brands in Russia by end of this year.
Micromax has tied up with Russian Company VVP Group to start their operation in Russia.VVP Group is one of the leading distribution houses in Russia.
"With a focus on democratising technologies for the masses, we aim to have an aggressive plan to make a mark in the Russian mobile handset market re-emphasising our vision to offer innovative products and service offerings customised to address the needs of consumers in Russia", Said Micromax
As Micromax going to operate in Russian market, The local contents should be included in thier smartphone.So Micromax is tieing up with Russian web companies and other popular services. That includes social network Odnoklassniki, free video and music service IVI.ru, globally popular messaging app Viber, and other big popular social sites like Facebook and Twitter.
“Our immediate goal will be to build a very strong and robust distribution network to capture a significant share in the Russian mobile handset market. We will be working aggressively to strengthen our presence in the retail space across 9,000+ sales points in the country backed by a service infrastructure,” said Vasily Sibirtsev, chairman, VVP Group.
To begin an operation, Micromax launches two smartphones , one is premium category Canvas Beat A114R and another one is cheaper Bolt A94.Coming to smartphones Both phone has huge selling past year in Indian market.
