Yes Bixby is Better Than Siri

When Samsung launched Bixby earlier this year, people started making fun of it. This was in part attributed to its name. Now that Bixby has been incorporated in the S8 and Note 8 devices, people are laughing no more. In fact, after testing its AI (Artificial Intelligence) capabilities, consumers are really liking Bixby. Samsung says that Bixby knows about 3000 commands, and it is learning on a daily basis, and over time, it will mature even more. We put both Bixby and Siri into some simple to complex command tests, and we really liked what Bixby had to offer. We asked the following simple commands from both Bixby and Siri

Go to home screen
Take a screen shot
Open Amazon.com
Text a specific contact
Connect to TV

Bixby executed all commands successfully, while Siri only opened the Amazon.com in a browser.

We then asked some mediocre  commands like:

Unlock the phone 
Swipe Left
Swipe Right
Scroll Down
Optimize phone
Device Maintenance

Once again Bixby launched all commands successfully, while Siri did not execute even one.

In round 3, we asked some complex tasks from both Bixby and Siri

Text John and attach the latest pictures from Gallary
Open YouTube and Search for Adel's song
Set the alarm to 5:00 am
Goto Settings and change the theme

Again, Bixby executed all the commands and Siri only took us to the setting screen. We know there are a number of complex commands that Bixby can do easily than Siri. Apple needs to make Siri smarter in order to keep up with the pace of Bixby from Samsung. It is amazing how easy it is to operate your phone with Bixby. While Siri can do some really simple commands, Bixby has taken AI to the next level, and it is only the beginning. In our view Bixby will mature really quickly over the next few months and years, and for now we can certainly say that Bixby is much better than Siri when it comes to voice commands.
