Most of you have observed that you don't get internet speed as per your Service Provider promises to you.Some of ISP says that their internet connection gives you speed of Mbps.Have you get that speed? - Definately No because the speed is tested under standard circumstances.So here we are giving you some tips and tricks that can increase your internet speed.
#1 Have a good Anti-Virus
Most of you argue that what is relation between anti-virus and your internet speed.but trust me there is relation.A good anti-virus software in your pc protects your pc from viruses , malwares , trojons.These stuff eats to much your internet.Think of situations where your pc has no antivirus software, It is partially infected by Trojons & Malwares that sends your data to attacker over internet. For sharing your data over internet by Malware is impossible without an internet connection.So have a good antivirus will protect your pc from those viruses , worms, trojons, malwares and ultimately retains the original speed of internet connection.
#2 Sharing Matters
If you are using wireless internet connection (WiFi).So don't allow anybody to access your internet connection.because sharing of your internet reduces speed of your internet.Turn of guest access to your internet.To turn off guest access to router , simply go into router configuration , under the security tab there is option for turn off guest option.Limit the maximum users to wifi access.There is option in configuration to limit the number of users that can access your connection.
#3 Position the Router
If your router is misplaced from where to access your connection is not easy will impact on your internet speed. so place your router in right position where you will get good speed along with good signal strength.
#4 Avoid xTention of Cables
Most of times when we are using ethernet cable based internet connection.We connects cables to cable if there is not enough length ethernet cable.Such extension in cable physically reduces your internet speed as Extension involves losses in data packets.If possible always use single ethernet cable without coupling it another one.
#5 Use Smart Tools
